Create A Media Kit In Minutes With 10up’s Publisher Media Kit Plugin

Publisher Media Kit, our latest free WordPress plugin release, helps publishers add a robust digital media kit to their websites, detailing traffic statistics, audience insights, and advertisement placements and rates. It’s the perfect solution for small to medium-size publishers who want to put their best digital foot forward to impress advertising partners and sponsors, without the cost and complexity of a fully bespoke solution.
Publisher Media Kit introduces new editor block patterns to the WordPress editor inspired by common media kit content, like Cover, Audience Profiles, Stats, Packages, Why Buy Ads, and Questions/Contact. The Rates and Digital Ad Specs patterns use a new Tabs block (shipped with the plugin) that displays sections of content with brief headings in a compact, tab-navigated layout.
How it works:
- Upon activation, the plugin creates a new draft Media Kit page complete with sample content already organized to fit common media kit use-cases.
- Many publishers will need only to replace the sample content with their own before publishing their new media kit.
- Publishers who prefer granular control over the Media Kit page’s design or content may reorganize, restyle, or augment the Media Kit’s blocks like any other page using the WordPress block editor.
The free Publisher Media Kit plugin came out of our partnership with the Google News Initiative and our work with the GNI Ad Revenue Lab — a program focused on establishing a comprehensive blueprint for local news publishers to optimize their digital advertising revenue. After witnessing several publishers struggle to create media kits that could support their ad revenue goals, our Open Source Practice and Publisher Revenue experts set out to build a solution to make adding a media kit to any website simple and fast.
